8 Minutes
Just sold my story '8 Minutes' to Atomjack Magazine. Will appear in the June 2009 edition. This is a science-fiction story that takes place in Lima, Peru. Hope everyone enjoys.

Caleb, I found your work through Dale Carothers. "8 Minutes" is a sweet little story. Reminds me of such Bradbury stories as "I See You Never", "En La Noche", and "Sun And Shadow". You have a deft writing touch, and I look forward to reading more of your stuff. Keep up the good work!

Bradbury is one of my favorite authors. An icon. So thanks for the compliment. I loved all three of those stories. I think what makes them sing is Bradbury's balance between descriptive lyricism and honest dialogue.
